1. Eligibility

• The competition is open to individual musicians, bands, or groups based in Manchester and surrounding areas. Entrants must be 18 years or older.

• Entries are accepted from all genres of music. Both signed and unsigned artists are eligible to enter.

2. Submission Guidelines

• Entries must be submitted through the designated submission link by [submission deadline].

• Each entrant must provide a streaming link (SoundCloud, YouTube, or similar platform) and a short artist bio.

• Entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

3. Judging Criteria

• Entries will be judged by the Acid Rain Productions team based on creativity, originality, and alignment with the theme of the documentary Made in Manchester: A Nod to the Past, Focus on the Present, and Looking to the Future.

• The decision of Acid Rain Productions will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.

4. Prizes

• The winning entry will be featured as the closing track in the documentary Made in Manchester.

• The winning artist or band will receive a free music video produced by Acid Rain Productions.

• Prize elements cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

5. Rights and Usage

• By entering, entrants grant Acid Rain Productions the right to use the submitted track in Made in Manchester and any associated promotional materials, social media, and distribution channels.

• Entrants retain ownership of their work but grant Acid Rain Productions a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for use within the scope of this documentary and related promotions.

• The winning artist or band agrees to participate in any reasonable promotional activities related to the documentary, including interviews, social media posts, and promotional appearances.

6. Publicity and Consent

• By participating, entrants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and music for promotional purposes related to Acid Rain Productions, Made in Manchester, and the Acid Rain community, without additional compensation.

• Entrants are encouraged to follow Acid Rain Productions on social media to stay updated on future opportunities and to participate in building the Acid Rain community.

7. Disqualification

• Acid Rain Productions reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed offensive, infringes on the rights of others, or violates the competition guidelines.

• Entries with plagiarised content or tracks that infringe upon another artist’s rights will be disqualified.

8. Changes to Terms & Conditions

• Acid Rain Productions reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our official website or social media channels.

9. Privacy

• All personal information collected during the course of the competition will be used in accordance with Acid Rain Productions' privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

10. Liability

• Acid Rain Productions is not responsible for any technical issues, submissions lost due to technical errors, or for any other reason outside of our control. Acid Rain Productions accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, or disappointment incurred by any entrant as a result of entering the competition.
