At Acid Rain, we believe music culture is about more than just the sounds—it’s about the people who lived through the defining moments that shaped the scene. That’s why we’re launching Faces in Music, a project dedicated to capturing the stories of those who experienced unforgettable eras in music firsthand.

We are starting in Manchester, but hope to hit all the corners of the UK.

From the legendary days of the Haçienda and the acid house movement to the underground scenes of the 2000s and beyond, we want to hear from everyone. It doesn’t matter your age or background, what matters are the stories—whether you were deep in the rave culture, behind the decks, dancing through the club scene, or creating the music that soundtracked a generation.
Faces in Music is all about those personal, untold accounts: the highs, the lows, the parties, the musicians, and the moments that left a lasting imprint on your life. These raw and unfiltered stories will offer a snapshot in time, providing a window into a world that continues to influence and inspire.
